Dear Friends,
Public service has always been an honor and a privilege for me. My top priority as a member of the City Council and as your County Legislator has always been the same as that of parents everywhere: to leave a better community for our children. Being in local government is about delivering on that priority and improving the quality of life that draws families and businesses to Westchester every day. As a mother and local small business owner, that’s what I expect from my government, and it’s why I’ve been a proud, strong, and independent voice for our County and the Sound Shore. Our communities deserve nothing less. That’s meant building a bipartisan, unanimous consensus behind transformative investments in our community that preserve the past while building for our future. It’s meant fighting for the taxpayers and saying no to irresponsible “borrow from tomorrow” budgets. And it’s meant protecting our environment and wallets by revolutionizing how our County approaches sustainability issues. Two years ago, you put your trust in me. Your support, friendship, and confidence were what I needed to go to work for all of us. Now, I’m hoping you’ll put your trust in me again. With deep regards, Catherine Parker |
